Welcome to Jane's Tidy Team! Our mission is to create functional organized spaces that give you peace of mind. The journey to starting Jane’s Tidy Team began with personal experiences that shaped my passion and honed my skills.

Growing up in a bustling Nashville household with seven siblings and two full-time working parents, I saw firsthand how challenging it can be to maintain order and keep spaces functional. Despite their best efforts, my parents often struggled to keep spaces neat and functional amidst the demands of work and a large family. It wasn’t until recently, I was able to take the opportunity to help them declutter and organize their home—a project they had intended to tackle for years but had become increasingly overwhelming over time. Witnessing the joy and relief on their faces as their spaces became orderly and functional was the moment I knew that Jane's Tidy Team needed to be started.

There were always hints that my true passion is organization. No matter what professional position I held, organizational tasks seemed to follow me. For the past five years, I’ve worked in research labs at Vanderbilt University, conducting research and managing shared lab environments. Each shared space had unique requirements based on the research needs and the preferences of the users, whether they were academics, researchers, principal investigators, or professors. If you’re familiar with academics, you know they have a tendency to want things "just so" and believe their way is always right. It often fell to me to uncover the true need for a given space, navigate different user preferences, and implement systems to maintain organization in highly utilized shared spaces.

Implementing organizational solutions became second nature to me. I found immense satisfaction in organizing storage areas, optimizing workspaces, and developing solutions for my colleagues. In my free time at work, I would even take on additional organizational tasks that had been left on the back burner. This dedication made it clear that my true calling lay in organization.

Following my passion and combining my personal experiences with my professional skills, I founded Jane's Tidy Team. Our mission is creating functional organized spaces that give you peace of mind.
